I'm new to Destiny 2 and having come here from a similar game "Warframe", I was a bit surprised by lack of communication between players and feel I may be unaware of messaging mechanics. Scenarios: 1. Tried messaging in local chat and fireteam chat mode when in the Tower but no one responds. Also, I don't see any active conversations ongoing. So I was not sure if I'm using the messaging console incorrectly or destiny 2 players simply don't opt to use it for casual chat? 2. Tried team chat mode inside a mission but since no one responded not sure if they received it. 3. I also see a clan chat mode, not sure when to use it vs team chat and local chat modes I also see a benign bug which complains with message as in screenshot, only the 1st time whenever i enter a chat mode and type message. Happens in every single chat mode. But works fine after I retry. Can an experienced player help me on text chat mechanics? Regards
