Weapons light Bugged in normal Vog.

Weapons with higher light (Up to 1330 pinnacle cap for obvious reasons) are doing more damage when they should be capped at recommended light of 1300. And only weapon light is affecting damage, not overall light after 1300.

  • Just an update on the issue. Seems like all activities from 1300 and above have their weapon light scaling bugged. Attached a video showing in detail that, in the 1290 activity shattered realm, both weapon and overall light scaling are working as in the previous few seasons, that they are capped at recommended light. But in the 1300 activity Tartarus, weapons are doing incremental damage past 1300.( ~0.73 per light level of the weapon over the recommended which is roughly the same increase you get for weapon light performance when it is under light.) But overall light damage scaling is not affected past recommended in there. I have observed the same thing in other 1300 or more recommended light activities. So someone with a pinnacle capped weapon going into Override or legend NF/Lost sector etc is doing 1330 weapon damage atm

Sorry not 100% sure if I understand. Normal VOG is scaled to 1300, so you will experience a power advantage against that content if you are above that, all the way up to 1,350 where the bonus will be capped. You tested it at 1,338, 1,339 and 1,340 and saw a damage increase each time, as expected.
And only weapon light is affecting damage, not overall light after 1300.
Are you saying that in two situations with the character at 1,338, Eriana's Vow will do different amounts of damage depending on whether Vow itself is below average, compared to when a non-weapon gear piece is below average power? That shouldn't be the case, a character at 1,338 should do the same damage regardless of the individual power levels of the gear, only the overall average should matter. Do you have a vid of that?
