Hello,
I've been feeling like the game is a way more laggy than usual lately since people in my games are teleporting far and wide and suddenly appear behind you with a shotgun (determined after the follow when killed) and decided to run a traceroute to Destiny 2 servers (While in the tower, When starting, and when with friends) and found out my connection runs through UK servers owned by a company called Zayo. Reading other forums it seems people in the UK are experiencing similar issues with their connection. I made this post to enquire about others that may be experiencing the same issue, before Blaming Bungie or my own ISP, or even DDOS attacks.
For those interested, after about 20 hops, the connection kept timing out past the max 30
Check the link if you want to know a similar instance with someone else during a match.
For those interested in doing the same ( traceroute ):
On PC, Type Resource Manager and go to the Network tab. Launch Destiny 2. Open CMD and type tracert [IP Address given to remote connection] ( Not your own IP ). This is also a way to check your latency of the game.
