At the beginning of the season Mixmax tells the guardian my enemies enemy is my friend. This could be taken as the Irisknees friend is the guardian. However, it could also mean that the Vex are the Iriksnees friend bc they are the enemy of the Guardians. Anyways, I think Avasarala is right not to trust Mixmax.
