No chance whatsoever that Bungie don't somehow completey mess up VoG. It was designed for D1, built around D1 gunplay / difficulty.
I hope I'm wrong but I'm 99% certain that D2 VoG - like D2 since beta - will be awful. The talent has gone, even copying the work of others is beyond the current lot.

How can you even call d2 awful (especially since beta) if you've been playing it this whole time? If it were awful wouldnt you have quit, like.. I dunno... 3 years ago?

I haven't been playing it this whole time. Last time I gave Bungie any money was Forsaken digital deluxe pre-order summer 2018. Played Shallowcrap and Blight a bit on GP, almost feel ripped off even playing them for free. I still have the 1000 silver that came with the Forsaken dd pre-order too, so a free season any time I want...that's how bad I think the game is now, I won't even spend free made up currency on it. Hoping a decent season does emerge though.
