Special Finisher Mod Not Unlocked
I picked the game back up with Beyond Light after not playing since Season of the Forge. I was asked to put on the special finisher mod to help with the Taniks fight in DSC and I did not have the option to equip the mod. I looked in my collections and Special Finisher is greyed out with the text saying "Source: Unlocked by Default"
Is there any other way to unlock this mod? I sure would like to be able to be a team player during end game activities.

1 ReplyThink if you didn't already have this mod when Beyond Light started, it's impossible to obtain. We just need Bungie to fix it. I know this is a big game, but it feels like fixes like this should be trivially easy, and yet they remain broken for months.

Hotfix 3.0.1.2 issued today did not fix this issue I and others are having. Special finisher remains greyed out in collections and is not available for me to equip.

I talked with my friend who started playing with Beyond Light. He does not have the mod unlocked either. Looking online it looks like you are supposed to get a quest from Banshee but there is no option for a quest when I visit him. How do you unlock this mod post Beyond Light release?
