Destiny 2 has a larger variety than its predecessor when it comes to weapon types and archetypes. As of now Banshee is just another slot machine of gear that I only visit if I want bounties or if I want to watch hundreds of materials go to waste and be disappointed. If we are going to have a gunsmith sitting right in front of us, what valid explanation is their for the fact he does not create new firearms or help us maintain/upgrade the ones we already have? All he does is play with his auto rifle all day long and hand out bounties. Before anyone says anything yes technically bounties help in our gear maintenance but just another bare bones bounty based material grinding npc isn’t exactly what I think of when I think of a gunsmith.
