I’ve been listening to a lot of gaming podcasts recently, and apparently this game has been in development for ages. And everyone in the industry knew about it. But WB could not announce it because J.K. Rowling has keeps putting her foot in her mouth, and has become persona non grata.[/i]

Anyway though, I'm hoping the actual Hogwarts part of this isn't an afterthought (versus the open world and combat and stuff). It would be super cool to have something like Bully... but ✨magical✨.

3 RepliesThis looks like a cash grab and doesn't at the same time. I think Harry Potter doesn't have a good video game system (It's too simplistic) so they might have to change something, or make the combat simple. KoTOR simple, or maybe an elder scrolls kind of magic more simplified. One question I do have if it's an elder scrolls is, how would you switch between all of the spell? How would spells like the levitation spell and the spell that brings stuff to you work? Maybe I'm not thinking about this in a creative way, but I don't see the magic system in Harry Potter being able to transfer to a video game.

5 RepliesI really like the world of Harry Potter, so in that regard this could potentially be really cool! But, Voldemort is a really lame villain, amd I heard Grindelwald wasn’t much better, so I’m hoping they don’t ruin it with another boring antagonist. >.>

Probably will check it out. I just hope it’s better the Hogwarts Mystery. That was dragging on and on and on and on. I hated it. Plus the only good thing about it was there was dating. I just wanted my own wand dangit!
