But epic ninja time on assassination tower 24/7 👀👀
It was a very strange community that took over Reach towards the end of its life cycle. Lots of UNSC/elite role-playing clans that organized shitty “raids”, sensitive scene kids who changed their clan tag to some variation of ILYB and spent literally hours in one game of Ass Tower (also usually involved in some kind of role-play that made use of horrifically sad makeshift bedrooms), and sad boys looking for a Runescape gf by asserting their dominance in those god-awful Ass Towel lobbies. They were fun to -blam!- with for a time, but after a while the sheer disgust would get to be too much.

  • All I was interested in were the Infection customs like Speed Halo, 5 levels of Terror, Get out of my House, Infection Mansion and the other fun misc stuff that offered fun gameplay. As soon as one of the drawn out game modes showed up I was out of there. There are fun endurance gamemodes and AT/DayZ aren’t that.

  • My guess is that reach is most popular because it was the first game these kiddies played, likely not experiencing halo 2 and 3 in their hay days

lol I got called out for “gate-keeping” because I said that people who never played matchmaking pre-party chat don’t know what Halo was like, so they don’t have the experience to make an informed comparison. My main point was that the people most excited by Infinite were generally the ones with no real stake in the franchise, people whose first Halo was Reach or, god forbid, a 343 Halo.

  • Oh I don't care if anyone agrees with my position on the Halo games. I just know that from playing the first ones that everything changed at Reach, and not in a way that seemed to fit the series. But those who came to it as their first Halo, don't know what they done know.
