I made a conceptual version of the Achlyophage Symbiote if it were to come back in D2

I'm copying my post over from Reddit, as I doubt it will gain any traction but I spent a lot of time on it. Here's the link to it: https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/hg0teb/i_made_a_conceptual_version_of_the_achlyophage/ Ah, the Achlyophage Symbiote. For me, personally, this exotic holds a special place in my heart. It was my very first exotic back in Destiny 1. Even after it was nerfed into oblivion and armor was entirely reworked in year two, I sill held onto it, and I think it still sits in my vault to this day. This is my idea of how it could return in Destiny 2 in a somewhat tasteful way. Regarding its effect on Way of the Outlaw: Normally, top tree gunslinger has a duration of 10 seconds. Following the changes to the solar subclasses that came in late 2019, the effective range of six-shooter was reduced. This was done to emphasize the close-ranged-ness of the skill tree. If this exotic increased it from 10 to 15 seconds, it would give the user more add-clearing capabilities in PvE and more time to bait out opponents or preform more devastating plays in PvP. Regarding its effect on Way of the Sharpshooter: The idea of extra health during Golden Gun has been debated, disdained, pleaded for, hated, and wanted by many for a very long time. The idea of an overshield for the duration of Golden Gun as opposed to damage reduction (all other roaming supers boast damage reduction, directly negating a certain percentage of incoming damage) would still keep the user vulnerable to other supers and high-damage weapons in PvP while also making them just that much more tanky against primary weapons and abilities. I think that a one-time overshield of 40 to 50 hit points would be reasonable. To put it in perspective, if I am not wrong, the basic Warlock class ability grants an overshield of 15 points and well of radiance grants an overshield of 70 to those who walk in it (and also constantly recharges it). This would make the user take just a few more shots from a primary weapon to go down, letting them be more aggressive and less squishy. Finally, the fourth shot, which was the exotic's original perk, would make it compete with the Celestial Nighthawk in PvE activities and make the user more devastating in PvP. I don't think I need to explain the PvP part, but in PvE, if the user activated Golden Gun with the Knock 'Em Down perk proced, their max damage potential would be 86.6% of what can be gained with Celestial Nighthawk. Celestial Nighthawk is not effected by Knock 'Em Down, and does 6x the damage of one normal golden gun shot. Each shot with Knock 'Em Down active does 30% extra damage, so 1.3 x 4 = 5.2, and 5.2 / 6 = .866 So, what do you think? This exotic would only get to be utilized in super, and I feel that when compared to other exotics that do similar things, it doesn't stick out as overly powerful. If I made any errors, feel free to correct me. Here's to hoping we see the lava-face exotic return in some way or another.
