Means to and End quest, still bugged after reset.
The Means to an end quest is still bugged on xbox, showing the In the face of darkness step still, unable to be claimed or removed. no new quest at the prismatic repeater, the interference quest unable to be launched. good game.

Didn’t bother picking up the weekly pinnacle quest from the recasted last week because of time constraints and then I read about the bug so I waited until after the reset. Picked up the quest this week after the reset and did all steps with 2 of my clan mates. Contact events > Menagerie > means to an end. Completed the quest and returned to the recaster as it had the icon on the map as completed. Went to pick up pinnacle and nothing was there. Hit X (on PS4) and it just brought me back to the inventory screen of the recasted. I received no reward and quest is gone from inventory. Though my other 2 clan mates said they got their pinnacle, I didn’t receive anything. What a waste of my damn time as it’s the only thing I log on to do at this point every week.

Yup same bug. Sucks because its messing up progression to get the new trace rifle.

Before Tuesday reset I got an "Accept" button when I opened the Prismatic Recaster, though pushing X to accept had no response, so I would press "O" to leave the screen and it would take me to the Prismatic Recaster vendor screen. Today, after the Tuesday update and today's update, when I go to the Prismatic Recaster, I do not get an option to "Accept" and instead am taken directly to the vendor screen, even though I have the quest in my Quest Tracker. The game allowed you to complete a step out of order (Wavelength for me), and then it got stuck in a loop last week and couldn't be completed. It was waiting for you to do something that couldn't be done, because you had already done it. And now the game won't give you the week 2 quest, because the week 1 quest is still in your inventory. Unless Bungie makes it deleteable, it won't go away and you'll be locked out of the weekly quest for the remainder of the season.

Got the same bug! Befordr Update, showed a quest step, but a push on accept button did nothing. After update, show a quest step, but no quest in the repeater. Keep up the good work!

Same for me on PS4. I have the means to an end step on my titan but it’s not there for my warlock.

I mean I didn't want my pinnacle gear for the week anyway.... I haven't seen this talked about anywhere by Bungie so guess we're screwed

Means to an end dissapeared from my quest log and recaster has no blue quest emblem to pick up for week 2. PLEASE FIX!

1 ReplyJust logged in on XBOX, tried all three of my characters and absolutely no change, cannot log into quest and Prismatic Recaster is still not showing correctly or allowing any interaction, very frustrating, looks like I have lost a second week in being able to advance my characters properly with the umbral engrams I have accumalated.

Same here. Bungie is still refusing to acknowledge the bug. This means we are missing out on the Weekly Means to an End. Missing out on material, story, and triumphs.

This is also happening to me on one of my characters on Stadia. One of my characters is able to progress with the quest however on the one that cannot the quest instead in my inventory, when I go to the PR it just shows me the shop front and no quest to pick up.

1 ReplyDidn't claim the pinnacle from last week before reset. Claimed it this morning and I can't progress the quest for this week. Prismatic Recaster has no quest step for me to continue for this week. Locked out of the story mission on Io due to the lack of a quest step required to access the mission.

Hi am having the same issue with the recaster it’s stuck on means to an end but I can’t progress on my main character which is frustrating. Hope you get it fixed soon bungie.

Can't claim the quest mean to an end for warlock, while it's flashy on the board quests and on map too, once you get to drifter you claim shit from the charger! One guardian from three is out, that's one third of gaming out. Continuing imbecility is an issue for money back guarantees, at least one third of the amount!!!

Still broken. Dead quest from week 1 can't be completed or deleted.
