Wasn't the Crimson Flinch Supposed to be FIXED? How Do You Fight One That Uses Hand Cannon Targeting? Possible Bug

This little bit of information is from the 2.6.0.1 patch notes. Here's what it says about Crimson...
Crimson Damage changed to 19/30.5 base/precision (Previously 13.76/24.75) Fixed an issue that was causing this weapon to deal higher flinch than intended
Now look at this line.
Fixed an issue that was causing this weapon to deal higher flinch than intended
What happened to that? How come every time I get into a primary gun fight against a Crimson, my aim still gets knocked towards every other part of my view other than my target? You might've saw my post that basically implied that I was really enjoying a Valakadyn recently. That's true, until I come up against a Crimson. I can't aim any gun at them when it shoots me. You'll see a lot of Crimson in Rumble and Survival. Unless you're using a special weapon or you're already in their face, you just get deleted. By itself, the Crimson is pretty fair. But once you put on a helmet with normal or Enhanced Hand Cannon Targeting, it turns primary fights into surprise attacks. Is this a bug or was it not implemented correctly during that patch? And what are you supposed to do to combat it? 'Use a special weapon' should not be the solution, especially since Crimson is just a primary and I'm trying to get my Luna's Howl kills in Survival done.
