What do you think will be the end of the hoomin species?
A.I. is a serious but underestimated threat.

Either we will end up evolving beyond human, or were going to end up with someone making a super deadly AI because dumb reason and make skynet a thing.

Asteroids are the only thing that don't give humans time to adapt. Climate change is bad, but its not going to wipe out humanity for a long time. We will be able to leave this planet by the time we lose the sun. Collapse of the universe maybe, but I mean that's a long time away. Nobody with the keys to a nuke want anything more than to maintain their cushy lives, nukes wouldn't wipe out everyone anyway. AI doesn't exists in a form that would be any threat to us, its hard to say if it will be a threat or not. I don't think it will be for a long time though.

An asteroid is a LOT harder to dodge so if anything, that’s the more dangerous weapon but it’s down to random chance. We won’t even survive to see the end of all known universe; or our star going supernova.

It'll destroy our coastal cities and be catastrophic for us all, surely, but only the animals we share this planet with will die out. I don't think nuclear war is truly a human extinction event, either. A lot of the world isn't really a target. Although, nuclear winter and fallout might kill the survivors. Asteroids are the most likely. I believe meteor impacts are why Stephan Hawkings insisted humanity find/create a second habitable world. We can't prevent them or do anything about them - if it happens, we die, plain as that.
