Bugged Gear Progression?
I decided to pick up destiny 2 again and play the new Shadowkeep expansion with some friends. All starting at 750 light level. I noticed that I hit a hard soft cap at 900 light and started to get prime engrams that only increase my light by one and I stopped getting progression gear (I am familiar with the light level progression after you hit the soft cap). My other two friends that I played with still kept getting normal progression gear drops all the way until they hit soft cap light level of 950. Is there something wrong with my character?
TLDR: I'm soft cap at 900, my friends are soft cap at 950. Why is my character not soft cap at 950 with everyone else?

Edited by toneDef Weary: 11/5/2019 1:59:21 PMGet yourself that 950 Werewolf from the FotL event. It's worth it for the boost to drops alone. Edit - And to answer your question, the first tier of softcap comes at 900. Then you'll get slightly better drops as you hit the higher tier of 950.
