Well, before 11:00 AM ET, the game was running pretty much the same way it was running last night after all the server flubs. Then at around 11:00, servers get taken down again. I heard that it was supposed to be for a half hour, but then about 10 minutes later, I'm able to log in.
The server downing like that kicked me from Comp with a Guitar error and then I got Weasel. Afterwards, I try going back into Comp, immediately get Cabbage as soon as my ship fully flies in, and now I have a temporary suspension.
I've never had a Comp suspension on Destiny 2 before in my life, servers messing up or not, and I fail to see what the maintenance actually tried to address. Can someone explain please?
And temporarily, can someone on Bungie's end disable the suspension feature if the servers are going to remain this way for the time being?

back end server stability.
My friends in the Bungie Network Operations Center (BNOC) are already reporting an increase in game service efficiency. Sorry if you got kicked out of your game, but this was a good step to take in preparation for a big weekend.
https://twitter.com/DeeJ_BNG/status/1179789803526619136

They told us yesterday about the game going down for 30 min today. Yet, you still went into comp? 🙄 But, yes. Blame Bungie. Lol

Still, my point is that nothing changed. Servers are just as they were last night. It looks like the maintenance had no apparent effect and I could bet that they'll go down again either today or tomorrow. I hardly even touched Crucible after the update. You can check my stats and, yes, I had unfinished matches, but I didn't leave them willingly. The match that got me suspended was AFTER the maintenance. Also, not everyone looks at their Twitter 24/7 to check for updates. Maybe a lot of us forum users do, by the nature of why players use the forums in the first place, but I have other things to do a lot of the time. A lot of things are new, and there are a lot of new issues that we all can't keep track of. Can I really be blamed?

Unfortunately, the suspension will not be removed. Comp suspensions come from multiple sessions of rage quitting, not 1-2. The maintenance may have been the last one to do it, but you were warned about maintenance multiple times and already had multiple quit strikes on your account

They tell you in so many ways that they are doing maintenance, which it looks like you read in advance! Why even try to play, until checking their twitter, or bungie help.net, sounds like a you problem.
