Sounds like maybe a suspension for leaving too many games intentionally or not. Possibly a connection suspension? Do you get error codes often? Are you on WIFI? IF so, go hard wired.

I’m on a wired connection and never leave games. I had a few nasty games during iron banner with like 20.0 kda so people may have reported me for suspected cheating but I don’t cheat

Someone needs to verify that you are cheating before getting banned. I think you were suspended? Banned, you cant play the game. Sounds like a inconsistent internet connection. I cant help there. Others might be able to assist you. Good luck

Reports alone aren't enough for a restriction. You likely had connection issues during some matches. Enough that when Bungie took a look at your acct, they felt is was enough to issue a restriction.

i dont get how there would be a connection issue though, im on a gigabit ethernet connection

Yeah but it’s a consistent, reliable, wired connection. Never had an issue.

The restriction seems to claim otherwise. Even on a cabled connection there can other factors affecting the stabillity of the connection outwith your home network, the multiple routes the information travels from your isp to the players your connecting to for example, multiple points of failure that can cause packet loss, lag and intermittent connections. With these kinds of issuea there is little you can personally do about it, cant have you ruining the whole lobbys experiance tho, hence the suspension in the hope it subsides.

I just wish that there was a way I could check the status or reason for the restriction cause I never got anything like an email or notification as to why

I agree, most companies who deal with the public have to follow strict guidelines regarding notifications for account changes or suspensions, Bungie Studios seems to be a law within its own. Its behavior you would expect from a small indie game developer.

For real. Like, not to sound snobbish, but I’ve been playing destiny as a franchise since day 1 with over 2k hours in d1 and like 400 in d2 and I’ve never had an issue and I don’t think I’ve done anything different that I usually do.
