We are not now, nor have we ever been, "Offtopica". We have been Offtopia and Offtopickle, then when we get in trouble, we are just Offtopic.

Well I'm not digging up that story I wrote for Luke and changing the title! Mostly because I'm too lazy to switch accounts and also I'm not even sure I can edit posts while bant so...nyah!

I was not able to edit while I was bant, but who cares, I was just tweaking his nose, lol. I personally like Offtopickle, because pickles can be wonderful and tasty, but they can also be extremely sour and bitter, which describes this place perfectly. [spoiler] I had a few more descriptors to add, but I realized they were not PG-13, they were my XX (xombiexronad) rated and not ready for a ban on day 2, lol.[/spoiler]

That is how we roll up in here! Who has time for a sermon & painful pews! Nope, we have tables and chairs, a bar and barstools, a neverending supply of fresh, warm & moist molasses cookies, with 30 different types of milk on tap so you can always have that perfect glass to wash down your cookies! Then for the older members, we have an actual bar with liquor, beer & wine to accompany said cookies. We are thinking of adding a diner as well, but Bernthal is still negotiating that. The Gawd of French Fries and the Gawd of Steaks are really trying to act all hoity toity and pretend they are not willing to stoop to having their offerings up for offer on Bernthal's menu, nevermind that they both frequent our Temple for an after dinner dessert!

I would, but we don't even have paperwork to sign up on, we just have napkins, so I guess I can write your name on one of those. This is probably the easiest cult in the universe, I mean church! [spoiler]700 years in the future, Earth is now the center of a huge group of aligned galaxies. The Temple of Bernthal the Great is the only religion anyone believes in or follows now, due to its simplicity and not having to pay for their immortal soul's safety. Everyone is happy, productive and nice to each other, because they have become sweet and warm like the cookies they consume. Peace and tranquility reign over them all, but will it last? For among the shadows lurks a jealous Gawd, who once reigned supreme and his Secret Squirrel Squad is out to take back what they once had, the Gawd of Coca-Cola is rising once more and we can only hope that the Intergalactic Federated Ferret Force and the Voodoo Hamster's of Doom can unite in time to save us unsuspecting masses from total annihilation!
