Hi everyone. I'm not very involved on these forums. I've made a post at the beginning of D1 and D2 with just basic questions and that's basically it. On topic, I've been very curious to see what the community wants from year 3 of Destiny 2. I've wanted to know to see if peoples opinions are similar to mine. What you want can be anything from story to endgame activities. I'll leave a personal list of some things I want below. Year 3 wants: 1) Artifacts: Everyone who played past year 1 of D1 should remember these. I thought they were interesting and were more loot to look forward to getting. Not sure why they went away, but I feel like they should come back. 2) Dreadnaught: I think everyone knows why I might be saying this. In the last cutscene of the vanilla D2 campaign and that cutscene has had every location we have gone to. 3) Enceladus: This will be a longer discussion, but hear me out here. In that last cutscene of vanilla D2, the Dreadnaught was not the only thing to see. There were 2 moons also if you pause and look. I believe one of them was probably Titan, but the other I believe was Enceladus. We have all been assuming ever since that cutscene the DLC was Mercury, Mars, Reef, Dreadnaught. What if instead of the Dreadnaught it was Enceladus or both? We got 2 locations in Forsaken. The reason I believe we will be going to Enceladus is something from Cayde-6. In that letter I think to Petra Venj, there was a secret message stating "It's on Enceladus". It's kinda odd that in the ending cutscene of vanilla D2 there is another moon and the Dreadnaught, assuming the one is Titan. And then the year past that we got this secret message. What if this is Bungie teasing us basically that we are wrong and we are not going to the Dreadnaught primarily? I know we had the loading into the Dreadnaught glitch for Titan, but Enceladus just seems more likely. 4) SIVA: Was a big fan of fighting SIVA Fallen. I know it is highly unlikely, but I'm just hoping at this point. 5) Legendary Weapons: I felt like back in D1, there were a lot of weapons that vendors had. Arcite 99-40 had weapons of every class. Now Crucible weapons are limited to just a new SMG, Sniper, a reskinned year 1 hand cannon, and a reskinned year 1 sword. To me, there doesn't feel like there is a lot of diversity in weapon choices. Maybe I'm being picky with this, but the overall amount of legendary weapons in this game overall has been bare minimum. 6) More Weapon Perks: To me, I feel like getting good rolls on guns is very easy and on every gun I'm looking for the same thing. Example: Kill Clip, Rampage, Outlaw, Etc. I can't name any off the top of my head right now, which doesn't really help my argument, but in D1 I felt like there were a lot more weapon perks. 7) No PS Exclusives: This one is kinda straight forward. Not a fan of exclusives for any console for any game. It is not fair to either side that is not getting the content they paid for. If there happen to be exclusives, it should be handled the way Activision does it with CoD. I think it is 30 days exclusive. Correct me if I am wrong as it has been a while since I played it. Or Bungie could do something regarding their Y3 Annual Pass. Have a PS exclusive, but only for a season or two. I think that system is fair for both sides if there still happens to be exclusives. 8) Ghost Shells: Have these matter towards your light level again. 9) Faction Rallies: I love the faction themed gear. I always have. Faction Rallies have been gone a while, and it is due for a return. 10) Trials of the Nine: Need I say more? 11) Strike Specific Loot: Not just Nightfall specific loot. Would add to replayability of strikes in general. 12) Another Annual Pass: I know we are probably going to get this again, but I think it is good for the game. Dripping in new content over the course of the year is smart compared to what we are used to. 13) Destination Specific Loot: Right now the destinations are stale. No exciting loot from the EDZ, Hellas Basin, Etc. Just Y1 stuff with no new random rolls. There should be a reason we go back to these locations other than the Flashpoints for powerful gear every week. I know this is a long read, but I hope you enjoyed it. Lets have a discussion.
