[TURTLE] Failed to download configuration files from Bungie servers.

I loved Destiny one, bought the full Expansion pass for Destiny 2 on PC. I played about 20 hours and then dropped it. Haven't touched it for months. But I tried to start it up yesterday, and I can't even log in. I've gone through all the help articles, ensured UPnP and NAT settings on my router were correct, done the scan and repair option, and even re-installed the game... Nothing works. I just can't connect. I already feel like I got hoodwinked from how bad Destiny 2 and the first expansion were on release... now, when I attempt to come back to see if any improvements have been made over the last 3 months, I can't even log in? WTF... Has anyone been having this issue?

  • This is ridiculous. This game is only playable intermittently with this error. It stops working for weeks at a time, and then all of a sudden starts working again. I can't find what makes the difference at all. I was excited for the Forsaken DLC, but no way I'm putting money down the drain when I may or may not even be able to play it when I want. I've never had a problem with any of the other games within the Blizzard Battle.net app... WTH is wrong with this game?
