Why bother complaining about this when they've already said the next update will bring changes to the exotic drop rate, including a higher drop chance for exotics you don't currently own?

because for a game thats based around its loot, it shouldn't take a multi million dollar company almost a month to fix a issue with code. That's why..

but since we know bungie hired someone or multiple people to make a game engine that takes a month to recompile for a update, it's just a meme now that they can't code.

Many are complaining because unlike you we have all 3 characters at 600 and have little if anything to show for our grind in terms of receiving the new exotic loot along the way. Nobody is expecting a handout. What we are expecting is that as we progress to max light the new loot progresses with us so we can enjoy using it on our journey. Once you get there and you haven’t had any new Forsaken exotics drop it feels like your commitment to the game has been disrespected.

So you can only play a game because of a reward not just for fun? Because that’s how it sounds. This generation of gamers have to be rewarded just to play a game or they will bitch and complain cuz they didn’t get what they want. I know you said your don’t want a hand out but to me that’s how it sounds .

It’s a loot based game. The loot should be something players experience when they play the game. When the loot doesn’t drop then the fun of playing is diminished.

(From personal experience) It's mostly just to blow off steam and well maybe they count how many times people complain about it.
