What is your opinion on the overwhelming fact that the true Eliksni race is dying and only a select few remain?

  • It saddens me, but seeing what Mithrax and Variks are doing gives me hope that they aren't all fallen.
I always try to avoid conflict with the Eliksni, knowing that even a few of them openly show that they believe the old ways, makes me wary to not accidentally kill a possible ally
House of Wolves almost converted back to the old ways, but Fikrul and his Barons made sure that never saw the light of day

  • That's why I go to the Dreaming City, because every enemy I hate is there, The Hive who made the Eliksni fall, the Taken who are servants of the Deep that corrupted the Eliksni in their fallen state, and the Scorn, the forsaken bastards that attack their own kind and hunt down those who follow the old ways.

Fallen (and Eliksni) have always been my most fascinated enemy type in Destiny 1 and 2. I always wondered what would have happened if a true Eliksni would have gotten their hands on the Splicer technology and infused themselves with SIVA

  • they wouldn't, Variks said that SIVA is not the way to rise again, the Eliksni of Old would follow the Traveler and live with it's light. Which is why I love Mithrax for he is the first Eliksni Guardian and worthy of being named Kell of Kells. The Eliksni of Old would only use SIVA for energy purposes.

This is a whole separate topic that I would love to dwell into with you, but I've always been so fascinated with SIVA. The idea that its evil or bad is just because the Iron Lords tried to steal it and the fallen are greedy scavengers. If in the right hands, it could bring light to a new Golden Age where power and energy is no longer needed. A self sustaining, ever changing energy source that upgrades anything it touches. Not to mention, it's controlled by Rasputin, who we've already saved more than twice now and has helped us in the past several times

  • Oh don't get me wrong SIVA is the best as any Warmind tech, I was just saying that the true Eliksni would not use it like the Splicer's did and would either leave it alone or use it for energy.
The Tyrant of Mind and War would teach us how to use SIVA if we knew Golden Age Russian, if I had the oppertunity, I would have used SIVA to build a Carrier, nay an entire fleet and go on the offence against the Cabal and Scorn, hell I'd unleash SIVA upon the Ascendant Planes of Savathun and Xivu Arath to consume Paracausal material and corrupt the minds of them to serve Rasputin.
