Unlucky players needs Xur
I play 8+ hours every day, i farm all day but 0 exotic drop.
We need Xur, 1 new exotic a week is the minimum we deserve for paying the expansion and playing many hours.
RNG is the cancer of this game, rewarding only lucky players.
The players have fun playing the content, not trying to get it without result.
Have not you thought that what people want is to enjoy the game with that exotic they are looking for?

A smarter loot system would also be nice. Something along the lines of the power engram timer being applied to exotics could be beneficial since I too have yet to get an exotic drop since forsaken except for one exotic ghost shell.

The problem isn't RNG. Lots of loot-based games have popular RNG loot systems. The problem is what Bungie treats as LOOT...and locks behind RNG or participation barriers. Exotic gear really aren't loot in this game. They are PROGRESSION. Because (when we aren't getting subclass drops like this year) exotic weapon perks are the only way to get new powers to our guardians. ....and people are used to this kind of progression being INVESTMENT grinds, not RNG-grinds. So people naturally get pissed when they invest a lot in the game, and expect that investment to be rewarded with progression.....and then find that progression being withheld or otherwise denied by forces that they can't control.

3 RepliesThese rookies don’t know the pain of destiny 1. The only way I got red death was waiting for xur to sell it. Year 1 if destiny 2 spoiled everyone but hang in there it’s better this way trust me I’m on everyday for almost 4 hours a day and I’ve gotten one exotic since launch of forsaken there’s plenty of exotics I want but I can’t wait plus most legendaries are just as good if not better now as well lucky players will get lucky need to adapt. This is the good and bad of RNG.

1 ReplyDude for me it's not even just exotics it's powerful and prime engrams too. I will cut a bitch if i get another shitty light level upgrade or smugglers sidearm. I'm just so irked that I'm spending 5+ to maybe 8 hrs to only get shit. I've gotten 1 exotic and it was shinobu's vow... Garbage. I'm fine with slower progression, I don't wanna reach max in a week. But i also want to see myself get stronger. That I'm not, and that to me has to deal with the fact that our only source of dependable levels is via milestones, and rng prime engrams once per day. I would have added in raid but you can't even get past a certain encounter because of them making things artificially difficult.

They took 3 of coins out, they took Forsaken exotics out of Xur's loot pool, what do you make of that? Right, they don't want you to get exotics at the moment. They will wait again until most people leave frustrated, and then they will discover their Santa Claus mentality again, giving you everything you've dreamed of for a brief moment in time. They only react to player metrics, as long as enough players actively play the game they couldn't care less whether you enjoy it or whether it feels rewarding to you.

3 RepliesMy buddy plays the same amount as me and the rest of our friends. He’s dropped two tailed fox, black talon and Ghoul bow. I felt good about my Lord of Wolves. But that was week 1. Still no exotics since and he just got LoW. I’m not grinding this game like it’s year 1 of Destiny 1. Something must be done about “lucky players” it’s ruining the game
