  • Just spitting the truth, the stormcaller melee is just not long enough simple, a titan with synthoceps melee range is longer facts are facts, facts and ignorance are two different things

  • Run Ophidian Aspects and your melee is equal and you get better weapon handling. See how that works? Exotics give longest possible melee. And Titans are based heavily around melee.

  • Synthoceps have the longest melee range in game ophidian isn’t equal it actually has less range the synthoceps and the warlock extended melee yeah it doesn’t work soooooooooo

    Actually, Ophidians don’t give more range (bugged). Also, warlocks have the slowest melee ability. They could react faster than an hunter or titan and the latest two would still be able to hit the warlock first.

  • Plus synthoceps are so much better than ophidian

  • Synthoceps is all about melee with bonus damage when surrounded. Ophidian is melee and weapon handling. Which one is better depends on how much you value weapon handling and reload speed over situational melee damage.

  • And the fact that a titan class has a longer lunge range melee exotic than a warlock is a little silly, if the warlocks were given a gauntlet granting as a shoulder charge, I believe an outrage would happen. All I'm saying is give back the long range stormcaller melee on both top and bottom trees, it is fair. Titans have shoulder charge, Hunters have smoke and knives. Why do the Warlocks not have their unique melee back? Why should all the classes have it except Warlock?

It makes complete sense for them to have a strong Exotic granting them extended melee range. But it's still less than what Thunderstrike was in D1, which they completely messed up with how far that melee could hit. They won't bring that range back unless it's with the help of an Exotic.

  • Once again, the iconic special ability for Warlock is Stormtrance melee give it back. If they took away shoulder charge how'd you fee?

  • Hey man, saying something like they took it away in Destiny 1 doesn't justify anything. They may have nerfed it a little in Destiny 1 but it was still a whole lot more longer than current D2's melee range, I'm just saying bring it back. Every class has their special something, why does everyone feel like "my class deserves this... just not the Warlock" my guess is because people are cry babies about gettig killed by it, if i felt the same I'd complain about the current 1 hit shoulder charge.

  • Oh it sure is, but the top and bottom tree? Totally ignored. One of the trees for sunbreaker? 1 hit shoulder charge. 1 of the trees for striker titan? 1 hit shoulder charge. 1 of the trees for sentinel? 1 hit shoulder charge. So cya.
