I love how recruiting has now turned into "know the jumps" or "must have done it before" for the Whisper quest.
How about just helping people through it and stop being sweaty? There is a known shortcut that saves you a ton of time. Chill.

To be fair it’s annoying as hell waiting for the public event to spawn for an attempt at it so if you’ve spent the time learning the jumping portion it sucks to be held back by a noob.

If I spent time going in solo just to practice the jumping part why should I be obligated to play with someone who hasn’t done that? It’s more douchey to join and have no clue what you’re doing and make your team lose Briefly looked at you game history and you don’t play any endgame activities... so you literally just want to be carried if you ever decide to do any of them

Never said I didnt. Got those down just fine. I just know there are douchey people that would still get pissed if you didn't keep up or fell a few times. And I've never raided in D2, but I've also never done an LFG post to do one, so...you insinuating that I would need to be carried is quite dumb on your part. Way to go!

You’re OP literally is complaining about LFG recruitment posts asking for people that have ‘ran it before’ or ‘know the jumps’. That’s justified in and of itself cause you can post whatever requirements you want but in this case it especially applies because 1) there’s an RNG wait time between attempts 2) you can go in solo and do the entire jumping portion to practice 3) you could watch a video and know the path and you could ‘know the jumps’ I said it’s fair to not want a noob to ruin your run and you called me a dick. If you practiced the jumps then why are you complaining about people wanting you to know them?! Ya people who did the jumps 20 times will still fall and some people will yell at them/ but that’s not the majority. My lfg groups were all totally fine and chill. My point about you not doing endgame content is it’s not really your place to say ‘Why Don’t you just help people?!?!’ You’ve never helped a soul do any endgame content and you probably don’t even fully understand what it entails. So to conclude: 1) People can make any LFG requirement posts they want. 2) Whisper quest in particular has an annoying RNG wait time between attempts- you don’t want to mess up 3) You can go into Whisper quest solo and practice to meet these ‘over the top’ requirements 4) You have no ground to stand on when talking about who should be helping who through endgame content because you no only haven’t helped anyone yourself, but you also don’t even know what the help entails. 5) Most lfg people are nice. I have no group and lfg every activity I do. There are douches but 90% are nice. Personally, I have helped more than 50 ripple get their first spire clear. EDIT: You liar! You’ve never been in the mission! Everyone can see your game history man. 🤦♂️

And you're right D1 isn't D2, D1 is better. All patches and updates to D2 are trying to get it back to where D1 Y3 ended. I was shaving time each pass but still taking too long (Titan jumps are for shit). I know the jumps now, but can't guarantee that I won't piss off the leader by not keeping up. The issue is the elite's mentality.

I never have the problem with elite mentality. I rarely even come up against it. I think it's just an excuse people loose for failing calling people better them or with less time to waste on games than them as elitelists. it's getting old and really sad

Titan jumps are shit? Your out of your mind, with lion rampant I was able to get to the first final room consistently with 16 mins left or so, try doing it in a warlock, then say the Titan jump is shit

What jump are you using? Catapult? I got the whisper and plan on soloing the chests bc i kept holding back my fireteam bc of the big grass room jump chest. Would high lift be good for the chest run? I do run with lion rampant

If you don't know the jumps you are ABSOLUTELY dragging your team down. Sorry, you can learn the jumps solo. Its not hard. If their goal is the clear it the jumps have to be down perfect. This is a mission you can run 1 or 2 times an hour at FAST speeds. You could have to wait 2 hours for your next chance at it, and to have it ruined because someone just wanted to join without learning anything absolutely impedes your chances at an already difficult activity.

Yeah I (like most) only found out about the quest this morning. Thought I would try and get an LFG team, but the amount of people asking for experienced players who have had multiple runs was ridiculous. Ended up just making my own post and found a good team (for their first tries as well) and got pretty much everything done. There sure are some sweaty elitists out there though :D

But there’s irony to it. Those same people take longer to get everything because they’re so hell bent on having to have “experienced” players they spend all their time searching instead of attempting and trying to help someone else.

So true. I joined a group through lfg and their requirement were "be a God"(not joking). The leader kept dying all the time in the jump puzzle. He caught up to us when we reached the boss room. -blam!-ing pricks everywhere.
