Anyone else supremely disappointed that Xol was one of the easiest bosses ever? That EPIC intro and then you kill it in the next mission. Should've been a raid boss with many more story missions added in and loads of lore. They could've added so many fight mechanics with it being a beast of immense dark power. Make you barely able to see, or very weak and you have to fight just to move. Maybe you can't even kill it the first time and you just have to crawl in darkness and try to escape after fighting it. Something I don't know.
Nah, this is Bungie we'll take a WORM GOD and have you kill it after 4 to 5 short easy missions. Welcome to Destiny everyone.

Bungie likes to ‘surprise’ us with raid bosses that no one predicted. The problem with that is that after day 1 people are wondering who the hell are argos/val ca’ur & how do they relate to panoptes/xol? And the answers are either poor or non-existent, Thus making the story fall flat on its face for the rest of the game’s life-cycle while writing team pats themselves on the back for the ‘well-executed’ cheap shock effect that is short-lived.
