Anyone else supremely disappointed that Xol was one of the easiest bosses ever? That EPIC intro and then you kill it in the next mission. Should've been a raid boss with many more story missions added in and loads of lore. They could've added so many fight mechanics with it being a beast of immense dark power. Make you barely able to see, or very weak and you have to fight just to move. Maybe you can't even kill it the first time and you just have to crawl in darkness and try to escape after fighting it. Something I don't know. Nah, this is Bungie we'll take a WORM GOD and have you kill it after 4 to 5 short easy missions. Welcome to Destiny everyone.

  • Destiny has a lot of, “OH MY GOD THERE’S A HUGE THREAT THATS GOING TO DESTROY US ALL!” it kinda kills the threats in CoO and Warmind which were smaller expansions. (Both were decent not trashing them or something). Gaul had that feel, but we got our powers back too quickly and too easily. D1 was good with Oryx being the one seemingly huge threat, and it took time to work up to fighting him. Crota, Skolas, and Siva were threats that seemed important, but less meaningful. Don’t even get me started on the darkness in base game. Just...just...no. The point of all this is that TTK was one of Destiny’s bigger successes. And it was a really big threat. When you kill of the big threat in three story missions, it just doesn’t mean anything. I’m really ok with not having a huge threat in each expansion. I’d rather one big threat. Like in D1. (Oryx).
