Emblems are not something that effect your in-game gameplay and make you more skilled/powerful than other players. Guns make me more powerful. Strong exotics make me feel powerful. If it does not influence gameplay by making me more powerful or having some profitable in-game perk(not just an aura that makes me look fancy), it's not LOOT. Give us loot, not cosmetics.
I thought Destiny 2 was supposed to be all about getting our guardian's power back after Ghaul stole it, not getting our cosmetics back. It seems Ghaul stole our powers for good.

us: REMOVE EV! STOP SELLING COSMETICS AND PUT THEM IN THE LOOT POOL!! them: hey guys! here's some cosmetic stuff we ma- us: WE DONT WANT COSMETICS! WTF!? #TheEnd.

Ghaul apparently stole our weapons and killed most of the people responsible for making them. Yes, this game needs more loot badly.

Fully agree . End game loot not end game cosmetics. D2 is in a sorry state and they put an entire twab update based around fkn emblems . They’ve lost what 85% of their playerbase and they think that emblems is the right thing to do . I’ve been pretty quiet about d2 shortcomings I’ve still played and kept mostly quiet . After I read that twab I threw my hands up in the air and laughed wtf and went and grabbed a beer . Took d2 out of the tray and put it in my off deck storage. That’s it I’m out. Brought out some older games I gonna start them over instead .

bungie's solution: buy future dlc
-
It's a collection game now. Enemy scaling prevents you from being OP. It's designed this way. You will never be as OP as you were in D1. The power fantasy is gone.

"We hear you and are listening. More Eververse shaders inbound."

Then be specific with your feedback in the future. Technically, I agree with you, but from Bungie’s perspective, the community has been asking for more loot ( note how vague a word ‘loot’ is ) to grind for, they make more loot to grind for, and the community loses its shit. Perhaps we all should have been more specific about wanting more guns and armor and less Emblems, Shaders, Ships, Emotes, Mods, Sparrows and Ghosts. The cold hard reality is that we won’t be getting any new guns until the Sandbox team figures out why we ( the Destiny community ) are all so unhappy with current arsenal and how to fix everything.

I agree 100% I want good loot not cosmetics. In fact 90% of them suck anyway.

Eververse is ONLY good for sparrows. ONLY!

Destiny 2 was the game I bought and enjoyed at the beginning (3 weeks), but as time passed on I realized that I don't have anything to do. No more loot to grind for, nor do i have the need to grind for the exotics, because they are worthless to the gameplay experience. You do public event and get tokens to get engram to get gear to get powerful, but there is a problem... it's not worth it to do anything for that gear, because it doesn't grant any satisfaction (it does not give you a reason to change gears, besides to say "oh my guardian looks cool' and still most of the content is just reskins), the weapons are almost the same ("oh here is a hand cannon that fires a bit faster, but this one has 3 ammo more"). On my opinion Bungie should make more gear with cool perks that would make you play in a different way to make it work., same with the weapons. As for the cosmetics i don't have anything against them, every game need customization to make you feel different from everybody else, but Bungie -blam!-ed it up. In D2 world there are some pretty cool looking guardians (because of the chromas) which I'm okay with, but when you think more about it everyone can make the same guardian just by getting same chroma and grind the same gear. Cosmetics should be a thing where you can get it by grinding boss, enemy or strike and not by grinding hours to level up and have a slight chance to get cool ornament on a gun. If Destiny2 doesn't change it's loot, cosmetics and the way to get them all 100% of the player base will stop even coming back for Events / DLS. Loot should be diverse with impact on a player's playstyle. With more models and not reskins. Cosmetics shouldn't be sold, but instead earned by playing. More options beside ornaments and chromas. P.S. this is my first time posting in a forum, so I'm sorry if there are some stupid mistakes or duplicating arguments.

It's pretty obvious that weapon and armor OPness will come from mods. I don't want new loot if it's not going to make me drop something from my current loadouts which probably align with 90% of your loadouts, lol. Now if they do this with mods, great. You still have to grind for cores and shard ( assuming everyone has plenty already). Make it so you may have to spend 30 cores to get the best perk/attribute combo for positive outlook forcing you to leave Uriels behind. The raid armor has me hopeful. Did a few checkpoints and got a full set, then did a full clear with the masterworked raid perked set. Big difference.

Ye but loot is like content and so hard to make so don't be a jerk buy some silver or go play monster hunter k.
