Don't be a jerk bro. You realize that he is a person with a family and has feelings too.
How would you like it people made fun of you like that? You wouldn't like it I am sure. Poor Luke. I am kinda disappointed that there is so much hate for this game which I enjoy. I really wish Bungie was more respected by fans and then the game would be in a better state.
If all we are doing is badmouthing Bungie how do you think they feel going into work. They are goin to do bare minimum effort. Cuz why would someone try to do a good job for some whining kids that constantly talk shit.

If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen. In this case Luke has put himself, and his attitude, out there in the public eye via videos, interviews, etc. What he gets is in direct relation to his actions.
-
That's easy for you to say.
-
??? Just stating a fact of life...
-
Probably because as the lead in the development of this game, all the failures and bad decisions go from him and into the game. He is the most responsible. Also, the fact that he straight up lied to the fans for months and eventually told us to basically not be mad and show him respect without showing us any is what crossed it.
-
That thinking never gets anywhere. People need to manage up. Leader isn't always responsible for issues.
-
As the lead developer, yeah, most of this IS his fault. He is the one who okays these things and decides what will be done. He has final say.
-
For a project like this there are multiple teams, he could be doing a great job but leaders under him are not properly communicating what he wants. You never know with this kind of game. Also fact is one of the studios is an Activision studio so Luke's hands maybe tied behind his back when it comes to control. You never know unless you actually have a leak inside the studio.

Dude, stop. I'm sorry, but at this point we need to stop defending Smith and start being real. He has led Destiny down a bad path. He needs all the criticism we can give him. And no, changes that have been made in the beginning were all done because he wanted it. And to give context on how he is bad at being lead, he practically left D2 and already began working on Destiny 3 a month ago! The Liveteam will always be the ones who have to clean up whatever mess Smith made.
-
I don't agree with you. Luke did a nice job on TTK and VOG. He deserves a second chance.
-
Yeah, but you can do one thing and not do another. Sure, he made a good raid and good DLC, but he has only shown to be unable to handle a full game.
-
Shut up Luke.
-
You gotta give respect to get respect bro. In the past 4 years the only thing Bungie gave us was one big finger!
-
Depends. I would laugh if I saw a remix of one of my bosses saying stupid things
my boss probably wouldn’t though.
He had to post a good guy bs so dad will finally buy him mhw and join all his friends 😂

Edited by Unforgiven: 2/21/2018 2:15:45 PMYay got my Monster Hunter. Jk bro. I am a father myself and when my son grows up I will buy him a Nintendo Switch and Destiny 3 or 4. Cuz I want him to become a gamer like me. 😉
-
Edited by Eqitx: 2/21/2018 9:57:26 PMYeah bro but what kind of gamer you want him to be buying him d3-4? A bored one who will leave after a few weeks like the rest of us? You better evaluate way better games for his education. Like the switch you mentioned (and a copy of zelda) and mhw where dlcs and content is massive and FREE lifetime, no gamble, no microtransactions, no frauds discovered by the community like the xp throttle etc etc. Plan to be a good father, dude

Buddy, free content forever and no microtransactions. I will sign up for that service once it's out. Thanks for the tips.

I am fairly sure people got at least to 300 and that's getting your money's worth and later you guys are coming back for dlc
-
Welcome to the real world snowflake.
-
Yep in the real world you have customers like Bungie fans. 100% spoiled brats. They play for 1000 hours then complain that they didn't get their money's worth. Nothing new here. See you all in the next DLC.
-
Calling other Destiny players spoiled brats may hurt their feelings. They have families you know??? LOL
