So I used to main a Hunter....
As the title says, I used to main a Hunter on Destiny 2 this last week when I was enjoying the game.
After playing with a Titan for the whole lifespan of the first game, I thought it was high time for me to make a change now that I've finally bought Destiny 2 on PC.
I gotta say, it was fun. I really enjoyed how the class handled, especially the new Arcstrider subclass.
When I hit 334 power, I wondered what it would be like to return to my Titan roots...
...And holy shit....

It's gotten harder to watch the classes out in the wild. Hunters will still wave frantically to one another on sight, but titans now seem to be more busy punching the local invaders to mark their territory than punching each other to assert dominance over the smaller titans. But with such low populations, perhaps this mating ritual has taken a backseat to ensure their survival as a species. Don't really see warlocks out in the wild anymore, but they were never social creatures. They're likely in their burrows waiting for things to cool down a bit before coming out to collect supplies.

2 RepliesEveryone plays in their own way and finds some things work better for them than others. Glad you're having fun on the Titan now. It was kinda the opposite for me. I mained a Titan all through D1 and continued into D2. Then as I played the game more and focused in on PvP, I found that I liked the Hunter a lot more and it fit with my play style. Now I main my Hunter and have a lot more fun playing that way.

I'm sorry but you downgraded if you went from Arcstrider to Striker for a melee build.

Well, yeah. Fist of Havoc was amped to the max. Only thing Titans had to sacrifice was their Defender shield. Not as awesome at all lol.

I have the same problem. I love my agile Hunter, but keep going back to my Titan. Titan is a beast!😃

1 ReplyI simply refuse to play Titans. They are by far the most superior class in both D1 and D2. The Hunter in D1 was so much fun and it was the only thing I used. Now it’s just a hollow shell of what it used to be. It really doesn’t even feel like the same class anymore

As a sort of Titan main, Sentinel sucks ass. The Super is awful. Go Striker with shoulder charge and Insurmountable Skullfort and you’ll have D1 shoulder charge as long as it kills an enemy.

1 ReplyI used to main a warlock and always will in my heart but my favourite subclass has been reduced to a whimpering blubbering mess that we now call voidwalkers. Scatter grenade still bounces, grenades still aren't great for PvE or PvP anyway cause everything just hops out of the way (vortex pushes away?), so the only real use of a grenade is to eat them for HP so you can keep shooting but then I'm not using what was once the best part of voidwalkers, the abilities... I'm not even going to talk about the super, ugh.
