#MakeTyraKarnUseful

Developer Information: User Stories: - As a guardian, I would like a reason to work with the character Tyra Karn different to her being a cryptarch but in line with the lore of her character. - As a guardian, I would like a way to measure how much work I perform in game with scannable items, and lore related collections. - As a guardian, I would like a way to review lore and story related content collected in the game in a single place. - As a guardian, I would like an in-game way to earn specific curated items related to the lore, and greater story of Destiny. Suggestion: Make Tyra a "Archivist" Vendor, with a currency of "Archivist Tokens," "Archivist Bounties" and a regularly changing vendor inventory that can be purchased with a combination of Legendary Shards, Glimmer, and tokens. Levels may be 20-40 tokens worth, a rate that if someone devoted a full hour of gameplay to just lore bounties they would be able to level up. Gameplay - All scannables in game, now yield "Archivist" tokens once per day (or long cool down). Discover them throughout the game to collect reputation with the Archivist! "Archivist Engram" randomized ghost shells, lore specific armor and weapons, sparrows, ships and comparable items. Received for leveling up with Tyra, "Archivist Bounties" - Bounties for specific areas that act similarly to the "Challenges" in Destiny 2 or bounty system of Destiny 1. Buy the bounty, or enable it with Tyra, and then travel to a specific area and perform specific patrol like missions tied directly to the scannables in game. Drop 1-3 tokens depending on ammount of time the bounty should take/difficulty. Possible Lore *A bit tongue in cheek but you get the idea*
Fenchurch never existed... Tess made him up as part of her sales pitch. Always jealous of the more "expressive" inventories that guardians had with their ghosts and shaders, Tess was always looking to expand her inventory in the tightly regulated economy of the last city, nad especially the tower. During the Red War attack, Tess helped get Eva and Tyra escape and survive. But she wasn’t quite so altruistic as she seemed. When she attempted to blackmail Tyra and Eva into giving up their businesses to Eververse, they resisted. Tess attacked, and while Eva couldn’t put up much of a fight, Tyra fought valiantly as she could but took a bad head wound… leaving her with amnesia. Now Tess controls everything, Tyra refuses to return to the tower or the Iron Temple but doesn't know why, and Eva is in hiding.
