Fated Engram preview @Xur shows item (The Colony) as already in the collection, but that's wrong

Hi Bungie help staff, hi all. Has someone else also saw this happening? I was looking into the preview of the actual fated engram from Xur and found, that a weapon was marked as already into my collection, which never dropped for any of my characters and hence it is not in my collection. For the armor pieces all was correct. Therefore, I did not buy the fated engram, as the only other item not marked as already collected are some arms armor which I do not want and chances are high to get these ... Currently only the duplicate issue can be found and seems more common. But probably these two issues are somehow connected. BR Edit: Thank's for all the reply's so far. So, if I take the fated engram, I need to go to my vault first, showing what's inside and then going to the cryptarch and opening it. Correct? And regardless what's inside the preview, every other exotic can drop too (regarding the duplicate drop issue). For the clipping of that, any tool recommended? (And not get banned :) --> I never did such stuff before.) Conclusion for the preview (@kevmarks): The preview function seems useless. (At least to me.) As with other games, a preview function is more misleading than helping. For the Fated Engram, my understanding is that it should reduce the set size of possible drops to items never dropped to you and that's all. (And currently broken ...) Addition to the duplicate issue (@Griffintowers101): What if, as in the preview, all weapons for you are marked as already collected? Then you will get an arbitrary weapon drop, you probably already have. I 'am not an expert in software or database development, but my impression is, that there is something wrong with the keying of the exotic items (weapons in particular). On the other hand, I could be totally wrong with that. :D Final personal conclusion: As I 'am not rich at legendary shards (more a casual player), my strategy will be (until the duplicate issue is fixed) to invest my shards more in upgrading of existing gear and crafting legendary weapon mods. Best regards
