We wanted a game Joseph Staten wrote. Not this

Please guardians, inform yourselves with who Joseph Staten is and what happened to him with Activision and bungie pre launch. We were promised a game with his creative talent (he's the man behind halo) we were promised an mmo on a console that would be truly one of a kind. It would have a halo twist with a really great shooter feel. I know that concept made all of us obsess over destiny pre launch. I remember this game being the first game I'd pay attention to pre launch and not just forget about it until it came out. This game promised us worlds we could discover, ship combat (remember that?) sandbox environments..... We'd be able to fly down to the planet we wanted to embark on. The characters in the pre launch videos show us a glimmer of what Joseph Staten intended and honestly the story he had was WAY better than what we have now... It's why D2 is a completely new story....because destiny1 was a complete shell of a game and d2 has nothing to go off of... Keep asking yourself why is it that the exo stranger has such a presence in the beginning of the game....those people on the radio she talks too... Her ability to travel in and out of places in an instant. A character like that in the final cutscene? I'll tell you why. Joseph Statens story had us going down a different path a path where there would be guardians without ghosts and she was one of them. She was a very important character and she... I believe would've been removed from the game if Activision had more time before launch to really dig all of the content he put in. What we had in d1 was basically a patchwork Frankenstein ish game that was slowly burning up in flames. Where we are at now is a direct result of developers detachment from reality. They as developers need us as gamers (consumers) to survive in their industry. They're lucky because we're loyal because we believe in bungie... But the bungie we knew isn't there anymore. Bungie left when Joseph Staten left.
