FPS drops in Public Events and level transitions

Anyone getting fps drops during: 1. Public Events 2. while transitioning between parts of a level I'm using a 6700K and a 1070 so I doubt it's because of incapable hardware.

    • I have seen streamers running sli 1080ti get drops in these areas, it depends on the severity of the drop. Pubs in particular have a lot of things going on, depending on your FOV and render settings you will likely lose frames but shouldn't become unplayable.

    • I don't see drops on events on my 1070 but I'm vsync locked at 60 1080p. On Xbox one events murder frame rate

Those are not FPS-drops. It's stuttering. It appears after a few public events, and as you also noticed, the moment you change area. Bungie systematically refuses to acknowledge the issue.

        • You should list your full specs. CPU and GPU aren't enough.
