Let me get this straight: you want them to remove something that no one is forced to use, but it still gives them extra money? Lol that isnt gonna happen. Instead of demanding removal, how about people just use self control and dont spend money? Simple.
Also, even if they did remove eververse, there still is that issue of rng. So the majority of those complaining about what Tess has, would still be complaining cause they havent gotten whatever it is they want to drop for them.

One of the most "common sense" replies I have read, and agree with. Bungie isn't going to remove something that makes them money, plain and simple. When it all comes down to it, they are in the business to make money, period. Yes people are going to bitch and moan about something, no matter how good a game is. Maybe they will change it, but they won't get rid of it. Guess we'll see what happens after the New Year.
-
Basically. The only realistic change i would want to see them make with eververse: they should make everything available at once. By that i mean, the engrams can stay rng, but all her inventory should be available for purchase with bright dust/silver right now, not on a rotation, like it was in d1. That way we would know how much bright dust we'd have to save to get that exotic ghost or ship we've been eyeing.
-
Yep, I am in total support of using bright dust. Wouldn't be a hard change for Bungie to implement at all. It won't appease everyone but it would make the sting of the entire Eververse experience a little less severe to take.
-
That's the thing: we can already use bright dust to buy all her inventory, you dont have to use real money at all lol. That's why i've been saying this whole stance/outrage of 'things are behind a paywall' is not true at all. People are just complaining to complain.
-
The issue is having the dawning loot locked behind a paywall. Everything offered at Eververse in Destiny 1 could be earned through gameplay. Or if you wanted a specific item, you could buy that one instead of a rng box. Now you have to spend real life currency to get gear. It's a blatant cash grab.
-
It is not locked behind a paywall. You can earn bright dust in the game, which can be used to purchase everything from Tess. If the only way you could get an item was with real money, then yes, that would be a paywall, but since you can use bright dust, it's not a paywall. Your second point is true, and i'd wish they would make eververse more like that. More like a real 'store' and we could purchase individual items instead of hoping with rng.

People will always find something to complain about for sure. If Eververse did get fixed or whatever, then people will find something new to complain about next. It's a never-ending cycle, haha. And the petitions and whatnot to boycott and not play the game anymore until Eververse is abolished is not something I will do. I will still play the game, regardless, even if there are some issues with it, it's still a fun game that I enjoy, plain and simple.

Basically. I'm be striving to become legend right there with you, guardian.
