Nerf Better Devils
Hello.
Playing crucible for so long i found pretty embarrassing fact that there is no real diversity in weapons preferred by players especially when it comes to hand cannons.
Really quite often I experienced whole teams equipped with better devils.
And it is quite obvious why. Because this hand cannon really stands out of all the other ones in practice because it has just the best non critical damage (because of explosive rounds), great handling, stability and reload speed.
I hate this weapon because it is not a match for anything else and I do not use it because just everybody use it. Please nerf this weapon and bring more diversity in the realm of hand cannons.

Where most pro-nerfers think that the damage should be dropped, I disagree. Instead, the range/falloff should be drastically decreased. A hand cannon is meant to be used at mid-range. However, this weapon can compete with long range weapons around 45 to 60 yards. That is absolutely ridiculous. The explosive rounds have no falloff damage - fine - but, the range stat should be dropped from 46 to about (roughly) 30.

If thats the case this piece of crap gun definitely needs a huge nerf 450% range nerf and change the rounds per minute to 1 and make the reload speed 59 seconds, no that not enough REMOVE THE TRIGGER. the paint job definitely needs a grevious nerf, worse than adding the merciless oranament to that little blue baby. OH BUNGIE PLEASE BUNGIE IM GOING TO STAB MYSELF IN THE TOE WITH A PLASTIC FORK IF YOU DONT STICK YOUR DICK IN BETTER DEVILS BARREL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 RepliesBetter Devils is the only usable hand cannon in the game. Instead of nerfing it they should give the other guns a slight aim assist buff so you see hand cannons other than ones with explosive rounds. And bring back the first curse.

Nothing in D2 needs nerfed. There's quite a lot that could do with a buff though.

If BD should not be nerfed, I'd like to ask you guys about replacement. I need good revolver in pvp for any slot. For now I see there's 12 votes for "better devils should not be nerfed". I think these guyz have some arguments which I'd like to hear. There's no kidding or trolling. I REALLY wanna any revolver except BD.

How about we fix range drop-off so that using high critical damage hand cannons is viable and flinch so that explosive rounds isn't a broken perk? Just a thought!

if you noticed all adaptive frame weaponry in this game have the smallest difference between crit kills and body shot kills. 140 rof (adaptive) handcannons have optimal time to kill of 2 crit 2 body as example. all handcannons have 5 shot body shot kills. meanwhile 110 requires 3 headshots for optimal TTK and fast ROF handcannons i believe was 3 headshots and a body. Thus adaptive handcannons are easiest to use. reason people use better devils is not because its strictly better, that would probably go to old fashioned in that archetype, no its used because of explosive rounds, even then it only extends its effective lethality a few yards.

It's only good because explosive rounds increases the range from Super Soaker to Nerf Gun, otherwise anything can beat it. You have summoned me.

then you better nerf the FWC hand cannon as it hits like a TRUCK ....more than devils and has a similar perk. and every other meta weapon is better than devils btw. love devils but it is about 10 in my go to list. literally not that good compared to vigilance, that something green hi speed pulse, antiope etc etc etc etc hand cannons are the worst weapon for crucible.
