I completely agree with you but unfortunately look at what we were given. There’s no way Bungie will ever do any of this.
The latest stream showed that they have zero intent of making this game great.
I want to play this game so bad but it’s just utter crap compared to Destiny. There’s no excuse for the game they provided.
I remember Luke Smith speaking pre launch about how people would be logging in to chase shaders...and he was serious. WTF

I would never log in just for shaders lol That being said it is the only reason I even touch trials now. Those shaders are sweet and I suck at PvP so it's pretty much the only reward I get in trails lol

Thanks for finding this article. I knew I read it. I’d like to know how many people actually are playing for shaders. Me? I play for good weapons and gear. Nowadays, I don’t play.

Yes, well that was Luke Smith design choice to provide initial sales. Its not the mindset of "lets have a good launch and GROW the community" you make regular players want to put more time into the game by making it appealing to put in more time. Sure they may not be the first, but eventually you want the community to push for that final clear of prestige mode.

There’s nothing to push for anymore. I’m not pushing through a prestige raid for an emblem or shader. I was shocked to see the raid rewards. I thought TTK weapons were bunk too. The only good perk was cocoon.

I mostly agree. The only weapon that one was pushing for the raid was the Rocket. The uniqueness of the raid gear hurt the reasons to play it. Plus, clans shouldn't given free rewards for not doing content, instead its more healthy for clanmates to try and help each other get their first clears. Its why Bungie may want to consider adding a currency that you get for completing activities and you get a large bonus for helping one player complete them for the first time.

I’m not a fan of participation rewards. I like to play and play well for rewards. When I got a clan reward the first time I was thinking “what’s this?” Talked with some clanmates and was told it was a reward for a group in our clan completing the raid. I thought, “this is interesting but I shouldn’t have gotten a gun. Let me check it out though since I have it.” It was an ok PR but here’s the thing. I didn’t even want to use it cuz I knew how I got it. So I infused it 😂

You forgot an ornament for the raid shotgun that's basically the shader and the emblems aren't even legendary their rare
