I am not a fan of class-specific events. I don't want separation between the things we can do as guardians based on class lines. BUT! I like your ideas around the events themselves. I am all about seeing those suggestions becoming a reality, but the events should be available to all guardians and not specific classes. They could still each refer to a "preferred" class or something. Just not full-blown segregation. Keep in mind, not everyone plays all three classes. Some people prefer to only play a single class or two of the three classes. Some people are just hunters... some are just titans... some are just nerds (whoops), I mean warlocks (LOL... I was a D1 Warlock main. In D2, I don't have a "main"). If I were Bungie, I would really limit the use of class-specific activities to the absolute minimum required (i.e. subclasses unlocking missions, class-specific exotic questions, etc.)

  • I only play Warlock. That’s WHY I want class specific events. So I can be immersed in my chosen class.

Sure. But, then you could choose to only do warlock-like events. You just wouldn't be forced into it. Maybe you hear some hunter talking about an activity he ran and you would be curious to try it... but you don't want to build a hunter to do so. That's my real point.

  • There are already weapons and quests that are class specific. This is meant to be a way to develop lore within the universe using gameplay mechanics and features. I respect your difference of opinion, if that’s not clear, just trying to explain my reasoning and interest.

Nope. I felt no disrespect to myself or my opinion. Let me give you an example from my experience... My closest friend with whom I play Destiny is a 100% exclusive titan. He's a titan to the core. Period. When we had the class-specific weapons and activities in D1, the titans got the short-end of the stick. Their weapons were terrible. I just don't want that to happen to him again. He never got to try Tlaloc or Ace of Spades or Susanoo. To me, that's where separation fails. I would prefer we all have access to lots of different activities, and we can all choose whichever ones grab our interest. I'd rather the individual choose to do or not to do something, than to have it explicitly restricted. Having said that... I would overall support more activities above no restrictions. More activities is more important, even if those activities are restricted by class.

  • Oh i feel with your friend and the titan based exo, Pik ass wasn't that great too but i would still like to see some new class weapons. Hopefully better matching them classes than the old ones.

  • I feel for you and your buddy, so maybe it can be something like: if part of a fireteam with a friend who has access to this activity or event, another class can join. Sound like a good compromise? This way a Warlock can defend the city with his friend in the streets, but won’t get the call on his own.

  • Yeah, that's not a bad idea. I could support that.
