I'm still pretty new to Destiny 2 (PC; never played the first game, I know, shameful), still learning its mechanics and lore so I'm not sure if this is normal or a glitch or what. And I don't know how common and uncommon certain things are to encounter. Like I said, still learning. Here's the problem. I've been playing for around a week, have two characters beyond max level with 280+ power levels (so, uhh, I've been playing [i]a lot[/i], lol), I've done a ton of public events back to back, and I've noticed that very recently, within the past 4 days I would say, glimmer drops either aren't giving anything anymore, or just aren't spawning. Normally/before, I'd get shaders, a good chunk of glimmer, at least 1-2 rare engrams (from the enemies themselves) and the occasional legendary/exotic engram in drops from public events and the secure-supplies-for-the-city quadrupal capture points. Now, I'm (1) only getting a small amount of glimmer (which I don't need, I'm maxed out) and literally nothing else, (2) getting absolutely nothing from chests (hold E to loot and then nothing happens and the option to loot is now gone, so I know I looted it), or (3) the chest itself isn't spawning. I'd say out of approximately 50 public events, at least 15 of them haven't spawned in the rewarding glimmer drops after completing the event. And it's not just me, the other players are standing around with me in confusion looking for the chest that never spawned, had a couple people whisper me asking me if it spawned in for me because it didn't for them, and no, lol, it didn't. It's a bit annoying, doing public events, especially the longer ones, and getting nothing from them because the chest never spawns in. I'll keep playing them because I find them fun, but the rewards were nice (even if I ended up dismantling most of them) and now they just don't come. Is this normal or no? Doesn't sound normal.
