Bungie, after this Faction Rally, and learning about seasons, you need to address the loot system

Like the title says, and like most people know, the loot system is broken... I have D2 on two different platforms, I play a warlock on each. I collected 60 engrams for faction rally between the two, looking for a single chest piece. Not only did the chest piece not drop, but almost no armor dropped at all. I got the same few guns multiple times, and most of those weren't even faction related. Between 60 engrams... How exactly is that possible? RNG? I don't accept that, it was never this bad in D1. But then again, you were smart enough to not have a slot machine token based loot system in the first game... There's something obviously wrong here, and normally I wouldn't be so upset about hours upon hours of my time being completely wasted, and feeling like I accomplished absolutely nothing... But having invested so much time into the game, I can't help but feel like this game is a cheat. Duplicate weapons, duplicate exotics, putting on events in the game that don't give the players the gear made and meant SPECIFICALLY for that event! This goes for Iron Banner as well, it's mind boggling really. Of course this is just my own experience, but even if plenty of people were getting awesome drops, the loot system is still clearly broken... The worst part, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I've heard, faction gear will change each season... Meaning that all the gear that we were unable to get because of a 30 engram cap and the incredibly broken RNG system, we'll never be able to get. Then of course if that's not true, that probably means there won't be new faction gear. Regardless of that, we know the loot system needs to change... Tokens, simply aren't working. If you're going to replace gear drops with tokens, then we should be able to buy the gear pieces we want with the tokens being doled out. I'm sure most players would be fine with that, even if the cost was high... 200 tokens, 100 legendary shards, 50,000 glimmer, i'd grind that all day long if it meant I could be guaranteed to get the gear pieces I'm looking for rather than depending on the RNG system that clearly isn't working. This isn't just about events either, this goes for all vendors... Take a look at Destiny 1 factions for example... Gain reputation to unlock a faction package that would guarantee high light gear.. You could get as many packages as you wanted considering you wanted to grind for it, you weren't limited to 30 packages and you certainly weren't limited to a week every so often to even attempt to get that gear... On top of that, there was gear sets from each faction that you could buy directly from... Why did this change? Who thought this new system for factions and vendors was a better idea than what there was before? Well, I'm telling you, whoever made that decision, it was a bad decision and it needs to be remedied. These things need to change if you're going to lock out certain rewards in specific events, and then further limit those events by locking rewards to 30 engrams... and THEN not being able to obtain those once the season changes... Bungie, you seem to have a very weird way of making your game... Weird as in, a COLLECTION game where you can't collect things.
