all those people reaching max level doesn't mean people are dedicated to this game but the game is too easy. People dont even have to do end game content but simple patrol and public events to get to max light level. If this was a mario game it wouldnt have any gaps to jump over just blocks, the fire flower would kill in 2 hits, raccoon tail would only let you jump higher and not fly. the game is good, but once you reach max level there is nothing left to do. You dont even have to do any thing that is considered end game and that isnt a good thing. The game is lacking in a lot of areas. With how much we saw Bungie learn from Destiny 1 you would think that there would be a lot in D2 but there just isnt. there is literally no reason to do night falls or raid. the game is too easy cause there is less content than the base game from D1. If Bungie knew that they were going to have static rolls they should have at least have had many many more guns. Armor its self is absolutely pointless. no way to customize builds cause there isnt any perks on them. So much of what was expected out of a game that previously went through so many updates to improve the game its self, none of that was there. Guardians are just shells of what they were. Bungie has limited what a person can do to build towards a play style a player wants to do. So what D2 is, is limited guns, limited armor, limited activities and limited classes. Even looking at D1, D1 had more stuff to do when it was released. the foundation was already layed, what they gave gamers in D2 is basic bare bones and damn near a beta. it hasnt been a month they have had 3 years, and it had been delayed and again the only thing they improved was public events. The whole game is a cut and paste but with things taken away. We shouldnt be going through another phaze of, it will get better just wait and see. No other game in the industry is getting a free pass like this from people blindly excepting either lazyness or deceitfulnes. But i am glad you are happy with mediocrity.

So basically you are saying you are one of the players that expected more than 3 years of content in Destiny 2? But with even harder stuff to do. Idk. That's just what it sounded like.

  • Keep telling yourself that what was given to us represents what 3 years of development produces and I'll be here always expecting more out of people who had all the tools they needed to make a game that should have had more. Not 3 years of content, but at least a base game that actually took their own format and expanded upon it. I expected to at least need to do end game content near the end of the game. I expected classes and sub-classes to be more fleshed out not dissected. I expected to see open world environments that were bigger than what we seen in D1, like bungie said there would be. I expected a game that is a looter shooter with weapons and armor with fixed rolls to have have more weapons and armor that could fill a vault without Duplicates and re-skins.

So yes to an extent you are saying more stuff should have been on the disc. Though the 32 GB seems like a decent amount of stuff on the disc too me. And the back of the case says 68 GB minimum. So maybe more isn't what you are really talking about. Maybe just better quality. That seems more reasonable. And some of those things you want changed aren't ever going to change. Like re-skins. That was in Destiny 1 all the way through. Why would anyone really expect them not to be in Destiny 2? People might supposedly LEARN things but they are still just people. They can be lazy and don't care. Or put under a lot of pressure and forced to cut corners to meet deadlines. And Destiny 2 is clearly made to be casual and noob friendly. You have to take that into account as well. I guess I just never over expected things out of this game like a lot of people.

  • No. Not the case at all. I ordered a game not expecting the greatest game of all time or anything like that. And not expecting it to be Destiny 1 Super Awesome edition or whatever most people were thinking. I expected it to be different and I expected it to not have 3 years of content. So I wasn't really let down. A few things can be improved upon of course. But it isn't a bad game. And I hate McDonalds. lol
