Bungie you screwed up with the faction offerings and you know it
A SCOUT RIFLE FOR DEAD ORBIT??? REALLY?!?!?
Anyone with half a brain would pick the scout rifle thus dead orbit so I’m expecting dead orbit to win in a landslide. To make matters even, you should have offered the same weapon type across all three factions.
To make matters worse, not only is it a scout rifle for dead orbit, but a pulse rifle for FWC and a stupid sidearm for NM.
NO ONE except the NM devoted (like myself) would choose NM.
I know Bungie is heavily biased towards DO but jeez...

Personally hate scout rifles so to me it's not dead orbit but saying that I really dislike the colour scheme of the other 2 lol I think all in all they messed up something that could have been great, they are making us redo public events etc that we are all bored of doing as we already have to keep redoing them for flashpoint etc and making us collect yet more tokens that I personally am getting sick of seeing - strike tokens, Nessus tokens, Io tokens, raid tokens, edz tokens aaarrrrggghhhhhh!!! what's with bungie and all these -blam!-ING tokens?!?? They should have given us 3 missions to find each member of the factions and then once you find each one they then give you a mission or 2 to do before they will rejoin the tower, that would have been more fun something different and less repetitive.

3 RepliesI'm a loyal NM I won't be joining DO or FWC but I won't be taking part in the event either. It's far more practical for me sit back and let DO win and pay though the nose for a scout than it is to actually put any effort and in the very unlikely event NM win not spend even 1000 glimmer on a pointless sidearm. Hell, I'd even take a no land beyond over a sidearm.

5 RepliesDead Orbit was already going to win because of black/white shaders. Putting a faction-exclusive scout rifle on top of that is pretty ridiculous. They should've made the special NM weapon way more tempting, like a hand cannon. That would've been a better effort to even things out.

4 RepliesI agreed with you at first. Then I noticed that Dead Orbit isn't getting Hung Jury, but instead some shitty scout that looks just like one already available in the game. Since Hung Jury isn't coming back (I believe they nerfed it a bit and changed it's name to 765) I'm going to have to go with New Monarchy on this one. Their principals are the best let me tell you. If someone were to ask me what the best faction in Destiny is do you know what I would say to them? I would tell them it's New Monarchy, it's true believe me. We have the best weapons. All the other factions will be jealous of the weapons we have believe me. Dead Orbit is a disaster. Make Destiny great again.

Edited by The_Moustache: 9/22/2017 9:14:41 PMThe Call to Serve Scout Rifle already has Triple Tap and is a great weapon. Unless the DO Scout has High Caliber Rounds or Explosive Rounds, it's not going to be able to compete with the aforementioned weapon or Nameless Midnight.

I assume every time a faction event is happening the weapons change. But that sidearm better has very good stats, particularly stability.

Funny thing is most people I see commenting are basing their choice on shaders, most going for the edgelord black from DO but a fair number wanting NM red/gold (which I have to admit would probably look pretty good) I personally am more concerned about which gun has the best perk set, that's the one I'll hope for, since my contribution is going to matter about as much as a fart in a hurricane. At least, as far as I understand, the gun being offered is just that factions own gun, so even if I lose I can still grind for it on my own since yay static rolls! (not sarcasm, I love it)
