Destiny 2 Power Level Display

Back in D1 Y1, the lvl cap was lvl 20, but the light level system worked in a way that the better gear you had, your level would increase beyond lvl 20 to say lvl 30 before crota expansion. This made it easy at first glance to show off your gear level, even in your name tag (above your head). Not just the emblem name panel display. Then in D1 Y2, they changed the light system to the way we know it today. But walking around and viewing lvl 20s everywhere didn't really show (at first glance) how good their gear progression is so far. Like if they were light lvl 310 or 240. My propsosal is that when you hit lvl 20, instead of a 20 being displayed next to your name tag (above your head) but it would display the power level. So instead of seeing a bunch of level 20s next to peoples name in the social area, making the only way to see their power level is by looking at the roster looking at then one by one or selecting them individually (with R3 button) and briefly inspecting them. Displaying everyones power level in their social name tag, instead of just their emblem tag, would make quality of life a little better for recruiting as well (like of they're of level to do nightfall and so on). Just an idea. Would this work? Has this been discussed at all even back in D1 Y2/Y3 when they made the change? Sorry if I posted this in a wrong area, phone app seems limited to what I can do for now I think.
