Ferrous Core is a new clan created for Destiny 2 on the PC. We seek to foster an environment that spurs skilled play and self-improvement without losing sight of why we play in the first place: Fun. We want to bring in future Destiny 2 PC players of all stripes: both those who are new to Destiny, and D1 veterans planning to jump over to the PC side. Our current playerbase consists of 46 members active within the past 30 days, with an average age of 26. Most of our members are in North America, though we do have a few Europeans and two from Australia/New Zealand at this time. (Figures current as of August 23, 2017) The group is a pretty even split of PvE and PvP interests with a fair degree of crossover; we are planning to stand up regular raiding and PvP contingents. [b]Games are meant to be fun.[/b] Games are an escape, an entertaining and challenging diversion from our day to day lives. If you're not having fun in any given group, why are you playing with them? At Ferrous Core we're about mutual respect among adults while playing for good fights, good loot, and more tally marks in the win column. [b]Teamwork is overpowered, so USE IT.[/b] We are unashamed tryhards. We play to win, because victory and personal success in these digital realms is always more rewarding and fun than the alternative. We will joke and laugh and screw around, but all players here are expected to put on their game faces and play hard when the caller says it’s time to be serious. [b]Maturity, Responsibility, and Self-Improvement.[/b] We seek to foster an environment in which players identify and take responsibility for their own actions and defects, and seek assistance in improving both their level of play and themselves at and away from the keyboard. It is only in cooperation and pushing each other to be better that any of us may reach our full potential, both as gamers and as human beings. Once you join our Discord we tag you as an "Auxiliary" so that all of our Regulars can tell at a glance that you're a new face. We want you to spend a couple weeks getting a feel for the group, playing with people, and hanging out in Discord. After about two weeks, our Regulars share their thoughts about you in a regulars-only channel, and vote on whether to bring you in as a Regular / full member of the group. If at any point you decide that we aren't a good fit for you, either during your Auxiliary phase or even after being voted in there's no hard feelings, just let an admin or recruiter know so we can change your tags and update our member count.
