why is it that whenever there's something new with Bungie's games, they throw the old one out the window like yesterday's trash!?
Xbox 360: rise of iron on xbox one is out, better get rid of trials and iron banner from Destiny 360.
Xbox one: Destiny 2 is coming out, better get rid of trials and iron banner from Destiny 1.
seriously, why do you do this!? does it really take people to put up these events manually? because it seems like trials would be something that appears automatically.
i haven't even gone flawless once my entire Destiny career, and i'd like to at least TRY to get there once before Destiny 2 launches.
do you guys even CARE about your games!? your own DEVELOPERS have troubles playing it!

[/quote] They dropped support for X360/PS3 because those old tech consoles were holding back Destiny. They had to cut a lot of content because X360/PS3 couldn't handle it. They removed Trails/Banner from 360/PS3 because of the low populations and to encourage people to upgrade. As for dropping Trials/Banner, they're doing that because the game will be dead once D2 releases. Keeping those active will only increase search times even more. Bungie aren't the only company to drop support for the old game once a new game comes out. All or most developers do it to prevent long search times.

Why would they maintain live activities in an old game when a new game is going to be released? Bungie is doing the same thing that most companies do.

They dont want to have to keep up destiny 1. Their plan is to focus on d2 and never look at d1 again.
