I flipping loved the Beta... but there were a couple things that could be improved

To the good folks at Bungie - This is my feedback Things I loved - Graphics - beautiful environmental design, guardians look sweet in their sexy new armor sets and performance was pretty faultless in my experience Story - if Homecoming is anything to go by, we can expect a fully fleshed out, dramatic, cinematic story campaign and I can't wait to experience more of it. The Weapon System - I know lots of people have posted that they don't like it, but I do, very much in fact. I would ordinarily run a handcannon or scout rifle for all of my PvE activities in D1, but I've had a lot of fun paring these with SMGs, Autos and Pulses in different combinations. Reworked Subclasses - honestly, there wasn't a single subclass that I didn't enjoy using in PvE, which I couldn't say was the case in D1. Here though, All subclasses felt useful and fun in their own ways. I particularly like the changes that were made to the warlock, with their healing and empowering rifts, as well as the icarus dodge and much improved blink. There's some good synergies to be had with the class abilities (though not so much for the poor hunter - even if I can't get enough of marksman's dodge) PvP - man (or woman as the case may be) I have had so much fun playing Destiny 2's PvP. I'm loving the 4v4 and the custom map design. The pacing of the action feels spot on. I feel like I can round a corner to challenge someone for the most part without fear of the insta-blap from a shotgun or Icebreaker. I've had intense 1v1 gunfights involving jumping, dodging, class abilities, melee, weapon swaps, rope a dope etc that brought great satisfaction with victory, and heartbreak in defeat. I like that all of the weapons feel like they have their sweet spot and don't feel that any one class dominates the field. If you changed nothing about this mode, I'd be more than happy to continue playing ad infinitum.... oh, and I saw only 2 instances of player lag throughout my entire time in the crucible, which was fantastic. It's such a difference maker to the PvP experience when you know there's some stable connection in place. Hopefully, that will remain the norm going forward into the main game. Mantling - Two thumbs up right there! Things I feel could be improved (outside of what you've already touched on in TWAB) Power weapons - with the exception of the fusion rifle (you know which one I'm talking about), the power weapons feel, well, not very powerful. Take the shotgun for example. I thought with the move to the power slot we'd see something that made Felwinter's Lie look like a short range marshmallow shooter. Instead, we seem to have got a short range marshmallow shooter. The amount of times I had to follow up a shotgun blast, at reasonably close range, with a melee to finish someone off was surprisingly high in PvP. It didn't fare much better in PvE either. The worst offender was the grenade launcher though. I was expecting something that would insta-blap a fellow guardian with a direct hit, not require 3 shots in some instances. I would like to see all the power weapons buffed to Main Ingredient levels of awesomeness. I'd also like to see a little more reserve ammo capacity for them in PvE, which I believe would go a long way to alleviating the concerns of some of the folks who don't like how the new weapon systems work currently. I think it would also be cool if you were to make it so, if I've got full sniper ammo, but I want to switch to a shotgun, I can do so and still have full shotgun ammo. This would also help with acceptance of the new weapon system in PvE I think. Super/ability charge times - I know you touched on grenades, but I would like to see my super pop up quite a bit more often in PvE and just a little bit sooner in PvP (I've actually got no issue with the current super timer in PvP per se, but I think it would entice more people into the mode if they were a bit more assured of getting to drop some space magic in a match - I've seen plenty of occasions where it didn't happen for some people, even in a reasonably long match). Maybe you've already got this covered with armor/exotic perks, but hey, this is just beta feedback. So that's all I have to say really, except, I know plenty of people weren't happy about how the changes that have made PvP a more fun all round experience seem to be potentially ruining their PvE funs. I see lots of people have cancelled their pre-orders etc. And you know what, to those that have, you're right to do that if you're not sure you're going to like the finished product. I sincerely hope though that, once the final game arrives there's enough positive changes and content to lure you back. This game is nothing without the guardians who populate it.
