Linear Compensator makes your recoil pattern more vertical than the other ballistics options. As far as I know, neither of these options make any difference toward aim assist. If they do, it's likely a marginal difference.

Linear compensator also adds impact. Not that it matters on a sniper. But it makes sidearms go from 5 bodyshot to 4 bodyshot. And saladins vigil from 5 bolts to 4 bolts.

Saladin's Vigil naturally has more impact than other fusions in its archetype, which allows it to kill targets with 7 armor or less in 4 bolts. Also, aggressive ballistics is the only barrel option that allows you to kill with Queen's Choice in 4 body shots, not Linear Compensator.

My crows eye with linear compensator kills in 4 body shots. And saladins has linear as base perk. Thats why it naturally kills in 4.

Saladin's Vigil naturally has more impact than other fusions, it will always deal 50 damage per bolt regardless of what ballistics options you choose. Crow's Eye doesn't have enough impact for any of the ballistics options to deal 50 damage per shot. Only Queen's Choice with aggressive ballistics can do that.

Crows eye with linear does 49 per bodyshot. 196 dmg for 4 shots. So it 4 shots any hunter that isnt using full armor .as max hunter armor is 199.
-
I guess it'll kill Hunters, but most Warlocks and Titans run somewhere around 7 armor, so 4 body shots won't kill them.

But it still 4 shots. Because the 49 dmg is bodyshots. You can still crit for 69+
