As an avid cyclist I never assume that a car will stop for me so I'm always on the lookout. In the end it doesn't matter if you were right, if you get hit by a car your the one that loses every time.

And you're one of the good ones it would seem. I always try to put myself in the other person's position, and there are good and bad on both sides. Unfortunately, the good are not remembered like the bad are.
