Bump I would really love some more vault space. Bungie might even be losing players because of this at this point. They want players to grind for all these different weapons and armor sets but then don't give us any room to store it all.

You're all hoarding things you cant possibily have the time to use. There isn't enough hours in the day to go have fun cycling 3 pages of guns and armor. We might use maybe 5 to 10 guns regularly on average. Learn to let go. Keep the essentials, cool armor sets, unobtainable curios. But take an honest look in your vaults and just ditch all the trash. More of it is trash than you think.
-
For all who are against it: Give me one legitimate reason of how it would negatively affect you.
-
remember, Bungie is always listening. just not to us
-
Maybe if someone posted this on Reddit they'd actually listen.
-
No one needs more than 108 guns or armour. Don't be a hoarder.
-
Because life, uh... finds a way...
-
Yes please
-
Yes...please fix this. Because of the different modifiers, situations, bounties, etc it's been important to have the variety. Also each dlc and event is advertised mostly by what stuff you can get. Don't see the point if there's hardly any room. This game is about collecting hence why there's a crypt arch and reward system. No point of having a variety of rolls per armor and weapons either if there's no convenient way to play around and compare. I kept a lot of my stuff because of the updates, balances, and specific situations as well as hey I was rewarded this.
-
Speak the truth!
-
Doubt they'd bother with it anymore. They just want this game to die off to prepare us for the sequel. Learn to adapt and let go.
-
Or you...could....yknow. Not hold on to every piece of un needed gear. The dismantle function.....exists yknow
-
Bungie could have lored this away: "The Tower is only so big." or some shit.
-
1. There's better ways for bungie developers to spend their time (like actual content lol) 2. In year 1 we could only fit 20 items total in the vault. So most of us think it's hilarious hearing your bitching now. 3. Bungie has stated before that due to the engine and memory constraints it would be virtually impossible at this point. And don't bring up skyrim or something to counter this point. They're different games. 4. I have full sets of all the armor I like (some with multiples for the sake of different stats), more guns than I could ever want to use, and stockpiles of tons of materials and other b.s. I even still have some raisins, change respawn consumables, etc. Still, I'm nowhere near full. Wtf are you guys holding on to?
-
We don't need vault space, should be reduced to only 12 slots.
-
For everyone arguing against this and saying," delete this, or delete that." Just stop. I don't want to have to delete my stuff just to make room for other stuff. I've held onto it for a reason. Half of the stuff in my vault are god rolls for me, but the meta doesn't support all those weapons.. but the meta does change. And that's why I hold on to all of my best rolls so that when an update or weapon patch hits I still have viable options no matter what they do for the patch or update.
-
I really don't get the vault space argument, Year one i never had an issue except with shaders and emblems, and now there is maybe 10 things in my vault.
-
They got no excuse for not increasing vault space since the dumped legacy consoles last year
-
Considering that the next game is coming out in less than a year, they shouldn't even bother with vault space on Destiny and focus on Destiny 2
-
How did you begin hording? One word : Destiny.
-
Bump.
-
Will it happen after the update tomorrow?
-
Even aesthetics aside if you want arms for each weapon reload. And chest pieces for each burn. Let alone keep your old raid and other activity gear. You can maybe get everything for one character max or due some heavy multitasking for half way through another.
-
Although I would love more vault space I think we need better control over organisation in the vaults too. Things like: Deleting items from vault Ability to rearrange vault Infuse while in vault
-
Bungie motto: We make games we want to play. Apparently includes games with limited vault space
