Let's discuss the Netflix show "Dear White People"
One of the writers said "-blam!- white people" on Twitter. I think he's a writer.
Is it really that bad? I hear people are cancelling their Netflix because of it. Seems like an overreaction to me.

It got them a TON of free publicity and advertising, and a whole bunch of people are gonna watch outta pure curiosity, so in the end, I'm pretty sure Netflix got the last laugh

Then I think immediately after, how white people dont pull the race card, whine or bitch about garbage like this, even though most of the racist shit happening now a days is directed at white people, but is deemed totally ok because,let's face it, in this day and age, only white people are racist. But hey, it's totally logical for people who never experienced REAL racism to demand special treatment from people who didn't DO anything, based on the experience of other people who did experience REAL racism from people who DID something. Cuz race is the real reason for every action in the world,right? I mean really, race is the most important reason to treat people certain ways, right? People are getting tired of it & the backlash is getting stronger with each thing of this nature, show or otherwise. Personally, I could not care any less. It is a show, I will either watch it or I won't & no skin off my butt.

PDS talked about this in a fair and unbiased manner that everyone debating this needs to see before they talk about it so they can have an educated viewpoint.

I just don't care. It looks dumb, so I just won't watch it. I'm not going to cancel my subscription because of it. Obviously I can't judge the show because I haven't seen it (we all know how deceptive trailers can be). I've heard that the movie it's based on isn't as racist as this show [i]appears[/i] to be, so maybe they're just marketing it like that to get a reaction. Granted the reaction has been mostly negative, but I've heard a few people say that they wouldn't have even heard of the show if everyone hadn't reacted so loudly to it, so in a way, the boycotters could be helping Netflix by getting them free marketing.
