The stuff with Carl was too forced to feel natural, so I didn't like those part. I'm liking what's happening with Maggie and Sasha though.

I'm liking the overall arch, but I do somewhat agree. I believe it happened differently in the comics as in the spoiler below: [spoiler]Carl sneaks into Negan's trunk the day he visits Alexandria.[/spoiler]
